Kober childcare is a social childcare organization in the West Brabant region. With over 200 locations in the region, they are always close by. Close to children. Close to school. And always close to home.


Challenge
How do you create the "nearby" feeling online at all 200 locations? How do you ensure that the nearest location is found the fastest? And how do you set all this up in the most user-friendly way possible?
Kober is a major player in the market. In their search for a partner with a fresh perspective on digital, the choice fell on Pageking. Not illogical: a passionate team to connect with quickly, in an approachable way. Exactly what Kober itself is. We proactively share ideas and always pick up the phone for technical issues. In this way we make maximum impact for all Kober locations with minimal resources. But we also dare to be critical.

Rebranding
A Web site performs best on a strong brand foundation. During the strategy process, it became clear that the brand story was not yet powerful enough to make this move. Therefore, we were paired with our partner Maan by Kober to refresh the brand story.
Kober's story was refreshed, contributing immensely to the design and conviction of the website. Visually, but also in navigation and content. Among other things, it turned out that parents find important not the pedagogical expertise, but rather the feeling with and practical benefits of a location.
New website
In the new website, moms and dads are the focus. From the branding process and data analysis, we know what they search for, what they find important in a child care center and how they ultimately make their choices.
On the old website, each location had its own page. Many parents start their child care search on Google, so the findability per page should not be lost. We carefully migrated all the old pages to the new environment, so that they maintain the same positions in Google as much as possible.

What started with a new website has grown into refreshed brand experience on all fronts. Online and offline. Together with Maan, the renewed Kober came to life on locations, with printed matter and in labor market communication: to attract new colleagues, we also created a Working at Kober website and campaign.
Every 3 months we hold an inspiration session together, to fill the roadmap with new ideas. Meanwhile, Kober also knows how to find our technical support. And that's a good thing, because it keeps the online proposition continuously improving....
