Privacy Policy 💪

This is the privacy statement of Pageking B.V., office located at John F. Kennedylaan nr. 14 in Breda, the Netherlands, also referred to as "Controller". We respect the privacy rights of everyone who comes into contact with us. This privacy statement describes why your personal data is collected and used, what data it is and what rights you have as a data subject.

 

Article 1 Personal data

1.1 A personal data refers to information about an identified or identifiable natural person. In principle, our website can be visited without your personal data being transmitted to us. However, we do use cookies and web statistics, which collect certain Pageking unidentifiable information about the user of the website. We do this to see how you as a visitor use our website, so we can continue to improve our website and make it more user friendly(er).

Why and when are personal data collected?

Personal data about you is processed so that we can perform our (online and offline) services. Data is collected by us in various ways. This happens, inter alia, when:- A visit to our website
- The use of the contact form;
- The use of the application form;

Pageking processes only the data necessary to perform the services, which in any case are:

1.1.1 Visitors to our website
When visiting our website you will be given the opportunity to choose which cookies you accept. If you accept cookies, Pageking may process data related to your device, such as your IP address or information about your browsing habits.

1.1.2 Completing the online contact form
If you complete the online contact form on our website we process your name, phone number, email address. The purpose when registering through our contact form is to be able to contact you to discuss our services with you. At the start, more than these data are not needed. If a cooperation results, we will need more data from you. In principle, we recommend that you only provide us with the above-mentioned data. By leaving your data, you give us permission to process these data.

1.1.3 Registering on the online application form
When you complete the online application form, we collect your name, telephone number, e-mail address, Curriculum Vitae (CV), possible motivation, date of birth, gender and information on completed education and course(s). In the first instance, this information is important for us to be able to contact you for a possible job interview. With regard to your CV, we advise you not to include more information than necessary. We strongly advise you not to include the following (special) personal data in your CV:

- Religion or philosophy of life
- Racial or ethnic background
- Criminal data
- Political affiliation
- health
- Sexual life
- Trade union or political party membership
- BSN and bank account number

If you come to work for us, we will process some other personal data. Some can be derived from your proof of identity. We then process your nationality, ID card, place of birth, Citizen Service Number (BSN), bank account number and marital status. We need this data from you as an employer in order to fulfill our legal obligations. In addition, this data is stored in our system for a certain period of time due to applicable legal retention periods.

 

2. Basis for processing personal data

2.1 Pageking processes the personal data of a Data Subject on a legal basis under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation:

a. Consent
b. Execution of an agreement with Data Subject
c. Compliance with a legal obligation
d. Performance of a task of general interest
e. Legitimate interest of Processor or a third party

2.2 Pageking processes certain personal data in pursuit of our legitimate interests. Pageking's legitimate interests include marketing, advertising and research of its own products or services.

2.3 Pageking processes personal data for the following purposes, based on the bases specified therein:

3. Minors

3.1 In some cases, Pageking requests permission to use certain personal data. Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age. If the Data Subject does under the age of 16, in those cases, the Data Subject needs the consent of his or her parent(s) or guardian(s) to provide the personal data to Pageking. The parent(s) or guardian(s) can also always modify or delete the data provided to Pageking in such cases.

 

4. Parties with access to personal data

4.1 In principle, Pageking will not provide personal data to other parties. Nevertheless, Pageking may provide personal data if:

  • Personal data is provided to processors engaged by Pageking with whom a processor agreement has been concluded; or
  • Pageking is required under a legal obligation to disclose personal data to
    to competent authorities, for example, regulators or other public authorities; or
  • Personal data is provided to a company belonging to the group of
    Pageking or another division within the company of Pageking.

4.2 Provision of personal data to the above parties will only occur for the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement, and to the extent permitted by this Privacy Statement and applicable laws and regulations, or if Pageking has a legal obligation to provide personal data to a competent authority. Parties to whom personal data is disclosed are solely responsible for compliance with privacy laws.

Pageking is neither responsible nor liable for the processing of your personal data by these parties.

 

5. Cookies

5.1 Pageking makes use of so-called "cookies. With these cookies, Pageking automatically collects, in accordance with the preferences specified by Data Subject, certain data about the history of activities of Data Subject on the Website and third-party apps. Thus, personal data of Data Subject may be collected while Data Subject is using the Website or apps or if they are running in the background on Data Subject's device. This data may be combined by Pageking with other data about Data Subject's device, such as an IP address. If this requires Data Subject's consent, Pageking will seek it in advance.

 

6. Rights of data subjects

6.1 The Data Subject has the right to access, rectify and delete his or her personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. Data Subject also has the right to object to the processing of his or her personal data.

6.2 Data Subject may request Pageking to restrict processing and data portability. The latter means that Data Subject has the right to receive the personal data that Pageking holds about him or her in a structured, common and machine-readable form and, if necessary, to have it transferred by Pageking to another Controller.

6.3 If the Data Subject has consented to the processing of their personal data, the Data Subject has the right to withdraw such consent at any time.

6.5 Data subjects have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority, this can be done at: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

 

7. Retention period

7.1 Pageking retains personal data for a period of 6 months after the end of providing services to Data Subject, unless Pageking is required by law to retain personal data for a longer period. Cookie preferences are retained for a period of up to 30 days.

 

8. Privacy Statement Changes.

8.1 Pageking reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement. Pageking therefore advises the Data Subject to regularly check this page to see if any changes have been made.

8.2 If Data Subject continues to use Pageking's Website and/or Services once the changes are in effect, it means that Data Subject accepts the changes. If Complainant does not agree to these changes, it should terminate its use of the Website and/or Services.
