How do you create a digital platform that does justice to the personal touch of a unique travel specialist? For Tiara Tours, we developed a platform that goes beyond showing destinations. Here, extraordinary train journeys, personal travel stories and unfiltered experiences come together in an intuitive journey from inspiration to realization.
Challenge
With more than 25 years of experience in unique train travel, Tiara Tours was in need of a digital transformation. The existing website no longer reflected what the company stands for: personalized service and customized travel experiences. Technically, the platform was running up against its limits, and visually it was also time for the next step. The challenge? To create a platform where, as a visitor, you would know your way around in no time, as a starting point for your next journey into the unknown.
From Trans-Siberia to Europe
Traditionally, Tiara Tours has been an expert in travel on the Trans-Siberian Express. Recently the focus shifted to Europe, which was accompanied by a complete repositioning. We organized strategic sessions to get to the bottom of Tiara Tours' DNA: what makes them unique in the travel world? The answer lay in their approach. Each team member goes out on their own to discover new trips - no filtered marketing stories, but pure, personal experiences
Intuitive discovery
We arranged the platform along three axes: destinations, train journeys and travel themes. This allows visitors to discover their ideal trip in different ways. For each theme, we developed a unique color palette that enhances the mood of the trip - think fresh green for Scotland or icy blue for northern destinations.
The content is set up so that as a visitor you dive deeper and deeper into the experience, from blogs and podcasts to personal stories from travel specialists. Knowing that much of the target audience is not always tech-savvy, we developed a travel configurator in the most intuitive way possible.

Personalized customization
Although the site inspires with beautiful images and stories, personal contact remains central. After all, you won't find standardized travel packages, but request a personalized travel proposal. Through a smart form, visitors share their wishes, after which the experts of Tiara Tours put together a customized trip. This way it really becomes your trip.
Ready for the next trip
The new platform lays the foundation for further growth. With a flexible infrastructure, new destinations and themes can be added effortlessly. And although personal contact remains the core, Tiara Tours is working on the possibility of also booking simple train journeys directly online in the future. In this way, the platform grows with the wishes of the modern traveler.
